We planned for a while to visit Braunwald region and do the Panorama Hike knowing it offers amazing views over the southern part of the Glanerland, towards the Tödi and Ortstock mountains. The train ride from Zürich takes around two hours one way so we decided, since we got there, to also relax at the Oberblegi Lake (Oberblegisee). To do this, we had to do a detour from the Panorama Hike towards the other side of the mountain and come back. The lake visit added a few more hours to our hike, which was totally worth it. We covered in total 21,5 km and an elevation of 1,200 m. If you are interested in more details about the route, please let us know. I posted a Strava preview at the end of the post.
